Accessibility
is quality
Why we build all sites with accessibility in mind, even when the law does not require it of us.
Our stance
The Swedish Accessibility Act (LPTT), which came into force on 28 June 2025, requires certain digital services to be accessible to people with disabilities. As a micro-enterprise, SENZAI is formally exempt from these requirements.
But the legal exemption is not the same as a reason to build worse. We have chosen to voluntarily work according to WCAG 2.2 AA, the international standard for digital accessibility and the benchmark the law points to.
Why we do it
Accessible web development is about writing code that works for everyone. People with visual impairments who use screen readers. People with motor impairments who navigate by keyboard. People with concentration difficulties who need calmer visual environments. People who are simply tired, using their phone in bright sunlight, or on a slower internet connection.
Good accessibility makes websites better for everyone, not just for those who need it most.
For us, it is also a matter of craftsmanship. We want what we deliver to hold up to scrutiny, and the principles of accessibility coincide with what is otherwise called good web development: semantic HTML, logical structure, clear labels, reasonable contrast, working keyboard navigation.
How we work on senzai.se
Our own site (senzai.se) is reviewed according to WCAG 2.2 AA and has a published accessibility statement where you can see details about compliance, test method, and contact channel.

All sites we build follow good web practice as standard. This includes semantic HTML, working keyboard navigation, good colour contrast, responsive design, and alt texts on images.
For customers who need full WCAG 2.2 AA certification with formal review and their own accessibility statement, we offer this as an add-on service. It includes:
- Formal review with automated tools (WAVE, axe) and manual testing with screen readers
- Written accessibility statement published on the customer's site
- Badge showing the site is built according to WCAG 2.2 AA
- Annual re-review to verify after changes
